Xiguang Xu
I'm Dr. Xiguang Xu, a research scientist at the department of Biomedical Sciences and Pathobiology, Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. My research interest is to study epigenetic regulation in neuroscience. We use cutting edge single cell techniques, including single nuclei RNA-seq and ATAC-seq and spatial transcriptomics, to investigate the spatiotemporal gene regulation during learning and memory formation. We are looking for interdisciplinary collaboration in the multimodal data integration analysis using finely defined statistical models and machine learning to decipher the underlying mechanisms during memory formation, storage and recall.
