Ricardo Coleman

Ricardo E. Coleman is a Management Systems Engineering Ph.D. student in the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department. His dissertation research is focused on developing a new framework for designing blockchain enterprises, central bank digital currencies, and decentralized autonomous organizations for the government sector. He currently serves as the Director of Counterintelligence and Security Integration and representative to the National Counterintelligence Task Force for the Office Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering. He is also a third-generation military veteran with over 20 years of experience in counterintelligence, counterterrorism, law enforcement, diplomatic security, policy strategy, and legislative affairs. Mr. Coleman holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Maryland, a Master’s degree in Middle Eastern and National Security Studies from Georgetown University, a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from Marymount University, as well as graduate certificates in Political Action Committee and Political Management from George Washington University, and American University’s Key Executive Leadership Program.
