Grant Hamming

Grant Hamming is a collegiate assistant professor and the inaugural program director for Rhizome, a living-learning community that gives students the skills and perspectives to solve complex global challenges through systems thinking, design thinking, and project-based learning. He has a doctorate in the history of art from Stanford University. In addition to his work with Rhizome his research and teaching interests include American modernisms, design history, and transnational perspectives on the history of American art.
