Adrienne T. Edisis

Adrienne T. Edisis is an Assistant Professor in Virginia Tech’s Center for Public Administration and Policy, teaching MPA and PhD students who work full time in public service from the DC Metro Area campus. Her research is on the intersection of policy and work, now focusing on reforms to state regulations under way, previously having served as a US Department of Labor Scholar. Prior career highlights include having a trade reform bill she drafted unexpectedly passed by a Latin American country legislature with her Spanish errors still in it and teaching then-West Virginia Attorney General Joe Manchin about globalization. She is very interested in how local governments that provide critical services to citizens can better understand and harness work technology change. Adrienne holds an MPP from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and a PhD in public policy and administration from the George Washington University.
